In parallel to the DDoS Enhancement role, an emergency situation arose that required expedited deployment of new antivirus client software to replace the existing application.
Scope was to circa 30,000 desktops and 3,500 Application, File and NAS servers in what was commonly thought as an `impossible’ 30 days.
Working with IBM in partnership with the Westpac Security Team, the impossible was made possible with the fleet deployed with success by the target date.
This was a mammoth effort by the team, and required new software package to be created, test, deployed in pilot and remediated prior to formal deployment across the enterprise.
