This business unit had an urgent need to deploy new technology in order to close an operational and compliance risk offshore, whilst also expanding the onshore network to facilitate connectivity for the existing backup and recovery product.
This was a very large program of works with the scope to deploy a standard a new Backup and Recovery solution that would become the standard in London, New York, Shanghai and Singapore, whilst expanding the existing solution in Australia and providing federated, central administration to both.
Partners were Symantec for the Netbackup solution deployed offshore, IBM TSM Onshore, Cisco and Avaya Networks for connectivity fabric.
