This was a cleanup project that followed the successful MPLS Core and network Refresh projects.
The project scope was to manage the national decommissioning of Legacy X.25 network and equipment end to end .. ie;
- establish scope,
- produce / provide fully resourced project plan,
- present to snr mgt for approval and
- execute
Total scope included identification of equipment, and removal plus disposal of X.25 nodes, cabinets, multiplexers and cabling.
This project delivered high savings to the client in recovered lease revenue. An item which was very important to the airline at a time of approaching un-certainty.
